I ended up gettin a remington model 720 in 30.06 wit a scope, walked out with it today for just over $400...not bad imo. Ended up lookin up some info on the rifle. thought it looked pretty damn good for bein used, almost like new.sounded like a hell of a deal as well, get the scope and gun for way less than i would for a brand new package. turns out the rifle was made between 1941-1944....fackin older than my grandparents. Iwas just lookin ****e up tryin to see if i got jacked for the price on it, one dude was sellin his for $1000 and another was askin like $3500 for his...fackin crazy. Def made out on this one. cant wait to go to the range and get her dialed in. even has the reticle that i was wanting, a german reticle or some people just call it a post reticle since it just has three posts. couldnt believe my luck today

now maybe i will be nice and lucky and lose my cc debt lol

 

Have fun with it, I have a JC-Higgins model 50.30-06 (sears and roebuck brand)made in the early fifties, scopeless and it has bagged more deer than I can remember. I actually just took it out to the range a few months ago and it still shoots "dead on" after sitting for 19 years (used to hunt in Idaho before moving to Ca).


Ammo cost 17 bucks for 20 shells so it will probably sit in the safe until I get the desire to go hunting agian.
