It cost an average of $2 million for the death penalty compared to $600-800,000 for a life sentance. it is just easier to put him away for ever and let him die of natural causes compared to the inmate (we foot his bill) filing an appeal and lasting for years on end before they tun him down and actually kill him off.

Either way were taken care ofhim andI guess I want to pay less. this is our current situation but we could go another way. When the judge says "Guilty, sentence to be death" he pushes a button anda spike to the head (like they use to kill cows) finishes him off and all we have to pay is the two guys that hauls his body to the furnace and cleans up a little blood off the floor. Im guessing maybe at the most $1,000 to do it....
