Accidents that you can write about could always be worse. These threads are a good reminder for us all to be twice as paranoid as we think we should be and that even if we do everything right, sometimes we take a beating we don't deserve.

Well heres an update, thought i could tough it out, but i broke down and went to the e.r. this morning. Torn rotator cuff in left shoulder, torn ligaments in my left ankle and foot. I think the bike can be fixed up for 250-350, maybe less. Broken turn signal, headlight, shifter, bent lever, left side lowers are pretty rashed up. I can live with the fairing looking bad but the rest ill have to get fixed. Well this is one way for me to get the flushmounts ive been too lazy to put on. Thanks for all the well wishes guys, y'all are the greatest. Edit: the ***** in the truck just drove off. I had no idea what the plate was or really even a decent description of the ride.

 

Ahhhhh! That sucks! Geez... I really hope you heal up soon, man. Next time, wear your gear!! He just drove off eh? I bet that idiot felt guilty as hell.
