Default look out for cagers....

I've seen this one before, but it's an extended version so watch it all. WTF are they saying at the end? Someone interpret for us non-bilinguals. I'd love to know why the hell this car takes off like it did and started plowing bikes.

i remember reading something about this a while back... i think this was shot somewhere in south america - they were filming a movie scene or a tv commercial or something, and the dude totally wipes them out, claiming "i never even saw them.." if memory serves that was the story, and a couple of the riders were killed in the crash.

I was hoping one of us could understand the news report at the end and let us know what happen.

I found this write up on anther site about the video:

This is a video of some mexican actors who got run over from behind while filming an advertising commercial. The guy who ran into them was questioned by the other bikers and he said the reason he did it was because they were using all three lanes!

UPDATE:
Shortly after posting this video we learned the following information and removed this clip from the site. We have a strict policy out of respect to both family and friends of victims of such accidents that we will not knowingly post a video where the loss of life occured.

A television actor and dancer killed in a traffic crash was violating laws by driving his motorcycle on a highway and filming without a permit, prosecutors in Mexicos capital said today. Edgar Ponce, who has appeared on television soap operas and in the male dance troupe For Women Only, died Thursday after a car hit his motorcycle on a highway where trucks, motorcycles and delivery vehicles are required to use side lanes. Police said the driver was not trying to kill Ponce, and did not appear drunk, but was accused of involuntary homicide — similar to manslaughter — and released on a bail of 300,000 pesos (US$27,000).

It didn't even look like the guy slowed down at all, he just gunned it. That's weak. And his comment about why he did it, just plain ignorant in my opinion.

that's lame. how was it involuntary? sounds like he did it on purpose! scary that people are willing to do that sort of thing just cuz they don't like something about you or your driving.
