man that is togh! Prayers sent for you, your family and hers. losing a loved one, even an ex is togh as hell.
Mabe smome confort can come in thinking that she died in a way that most of us have considered, doing something we love. It is a very real possibility that we might die riding our bikes. It is also a verry real possibility of dying scuba diving. so in a way she died like most riders.

That's a big reason I have a fear of swimming in oceans. Lakes and other small bodies of water are no problem... anyways, I'm sorry to hear this and my prayers go out to everyone.

Prayers sent from a fellow scuba diver (instructor) that she will be found tired and hungry.

I guess The coast guard has only scaled back the search, I have been talking to people that know her and she is not the same person I was married to 2 1/2 years ago. I am starting to doubt if she ever made it back to the surface, I talked to her new boyfriend and he said she may have been diving too hot a mix (more O2 than safe) for the dive. I know she was very safety concious when we were married (and I was a Safety engineer on the space shuttle for a while), but I think she had started becoming a thrill seeker and just obsessed with getting a 'rush'.

Whatever the case is, like being on a bike, one wrong move can end your life. Ride safe everyone and please encourage others to ride within their abilities and tell them it is NOT ok to learn on a new 600RR. Life is too dangerous already, why increase your odds anymore than you have to.
