Jesus people, the flask thing was tongue-in-cheek. Lighten up. Guy won't carry a flask around but he'll smoke his face off. Makes sense.

dyracuse - If school is what's causing your stress then just realize that, in your lifetime this is the easiest part. Concentrate on how lucky you are to have these opportunities and just know that things aren't all that bad. Smoking cigarettes (or substitions of cigarettes) isn't going to help anything in the long run. Save your money for trackdays or something.

On a sidenote, I was in a store the other day and they had prices of packs and cartons taped to the counter. I didn't realize that cartons have gone up and over $70!

I dont know anything about these E-smokes. But how would it be worse for mouth than your lungs? Dont you inhale whats in your mouth into your lungs?

OP, Do what you need to do to handle the stress. But life will not get any easier. Stress will continue and more than likely so will the smoking.

Yeah, I spose I can keep up the not smoking, just need to work on my bikes instead, going to need to clean my carbs out pretty good, the previous owner let the foam/oil air filter run dry, so it's half a mess inside there, plus it was never winterized properly for years. I did start working out again after a two year hiatus. As far as the sex goes, I'll keep it in mind lol, but no comment.

I have/use and e-cig. It helped me to quit, and made the wife happier. I still get the nicotine fix and saves money as well.

I dont know where the rest of you got your info, (or whether or not my research was incorrect) but the liquid nicotine solution is a vegetable based glycerin(also used for food coloring). It also does not produce any carcinogens you get from inhaling smoke. So it is way healthier than cigarettes.

They also have several concentrations of nicotine. When i started i was using the 30mg bottle, i use 24 now. they have 30,24,18,12,6 and 0. so you are able to step down your nicotine intake as well.

There are several different flavors they have as well. the ones ive tried are all very good and pleasing to taste. also doesnt expire, go stale etc. etc. dunno if youve ever gotten a stale pack but it sucks....

If your able to stay off cigarettes with out the e-cig then go for it. but if you need a lil help to stay off smoking, e-cig is a plausible choice.

hope this helps, if you have any more questions ill try my best to help...

ps, also found this......

The electronic cigarette is going to be huge. It has been wildly successful in other countries for years. It is different than a real cigarette, but can definitely be a good option for smokers.

From personal experience, I can say that smokers love these things and they are flying off of the shelves. They are not for quitting smoking. They are a smoking alternative. For those who wish to change their habits, this is definitely the alternative.

If you compare what is in an electronic cigarette to what is in a tobacco cigarette, you will find that they appear to better for the smoker and for those around the smoker. The vapor allows the smoker to inhale and exhale just as you would a real cigarette, without the harmful second hand smoke. The vapor is water based so it dissipates upon exhalation.

The problems that will arise from these going mainstream will be the tobacco companies and the pharmaceutical companies losing out on profit and as we all know, they just can't have that now can they?
