anybody ever heard of these. i know our bike isnt on the list but they do say that it is available for other bikes as well. i thought ive heard somethin close to this on some show on the SPEED channel before but wasnt sure if they were available for consumers or even our bike

Yeah, I have heard of these. Dyno Jet makes a kit for the 1000RR. http://www.powercommander.com/

These both eliminate the need to disengage the clutch on upshifts. Of course you can do this on your own, but these momentarily cut the throttle so you don't have to let off the gas yourself. Not as nice as a push button air shifter, but still a cool mod. For me, it falls into the i may get one someone category of mods, as it really doesn't improve performance or asthetics of the bike. People who race and are looking to shave hundredths of there lap time would be more apt to see any real benefit, for us average joe's, its just a neat toy for our bikes.

If this is a must have toy for anyone... get the electronic interrupter type... the air shifters are brutal on gear dogs. not a longterm problem as much on drag bikes, 'cause of frequant trany introspection, but rough day in. Just fan that clutch, like a six gun !!!!!!!!!!! Clean and free, ripp'n
