HI THERE HERE ARE THOSE LONG AWAITED PICS OF MY BLADE WITH MODIFIED GIXER 1000 MIRROR INDICATORS FITTED BIT OF A JOB HAD TO DO SOME MODS TO THE FAIRING BRACKET AND TO THE ANGLE OF THE MIRRORS BUT DID IT IN THE END. THE HOLES LEFT IN THE FAIRING FOR THE ORIGINAL INDICATORS WAS COVERED UP BY SOME SIMPLE SELF ADHESIVE CARBON SHEET SIMPLE. IT LOOKS THE MUTS NUTS. HOPE YOU LIKE EM. CHEERS IAN.

I love the bike and the concept of having signals on the mirrors, but those look like they should be on Grampa's Goldwing. They look like Granny's coke bottle glasses. I hate them on the GIXR, and don't think they look cool at all on a CBR. However, that's just my opinion. I'm sure everyone five miles out will know you are making a turn. Safety is very important.

 

Thats actually the only reason I want them. Theres too many blind people where I live so I need all the help I can get. I searched for any aftermarket ones but the only ones I found didnt look good at all but I do see your point. to make them look a bit better I want to paint them to match the color of the bike.

 

when you say alterations to the angewhat do you mean ? and i gather the gixxer mirrors bases are smaller than the blades ? is this why old holes are visable ?

 

I'll tell you an awesome mod... It's about 1/4 inch from the A key on your keyboard and it's called the damn Capslock key.
