electronic problem

Default electronic problem

i got an 05 600rr the fuel pump won't kick on or the headlights. then sometime it will work and start but won't rev past 4500 we have replaced the crank trigger switch because the wire was frayed but i don't understand the deal with the headlights and the fuel pump. is all the relays controlled through the ecm but not for sure hopefully someone can help me i would appreciate it greatly thanks

Dude,

1. Are you getting any kinda of fault code on the speedo display?
2. If so, GET A SERVICE MANUAL
3. My BEST GUESS is the Engine start/stop switch.

Not sure, but check your headlights have current getting to them and that the bulbs work.

A safety feature will not allow the pump to run if the bulbs don't work.

yea the headlights are good cause when they decide to come on the bike will start just not rev past 4500 the fi light is staying on i am really starting to believe its a computer problem i'm pulling my hair out trying to figure this one out the crazy thing is that it just started one day out of the blue for no reason went to start it and it didn't cooperate, lol
