me, i've heard stories from there and looked up many'a picture. i'd LOVE to go there someday when i can actually afford a vacation. until then, i'll just stick to Skyline Dr. in VA (which i still havent gone to but i've heard its VA's version of Deals Gap and im only a hour or two from it)

I will be down for late October trip. I'm roughly 4 1/2 - 5 from the Gap at the moment.All my money went to rebuilding the bike and getting it set for double duty 
. Jaynd, if you want to do a Skyline trip let me know around that time frame i'll be up for it. My parents house is about 1 1/2 hours from Skyline Drive so it wouldn't be a problem to set something up.

Definately go if you can. Its awsome. That was the first placeI touched my knee down. Its a great confidence booster to ride there. I havent been there since aug of 05, but it was a blast. I hear its pretty bad now with cops, but I think its lightening up a bit. And like already said, try to go during the week, the weekends are horrible with too many people.
