as i understand it the x ring will last you longer and is "tougher" , the "o" ring however is a more budget friendly choice. i have a "DID" 520 with vortex sprockets on my 9RR. but i could swear that i remember hearing that if you go with a 520 conversionit will affect your speedo like gearing will, so you might want to look into aspeedo healer as well.

You should specify what bike/year for tooth count.

Hmmm...I'm only assuming the OEM sprocket sizes are the same on mine (07) as yours and it's 16/42

I wouldn't waste more money on an X-ring chain though. All the O and X ring does is help seal oil in and dirt out. I'd stick with an O ring DID or RK, bothare top shelf.

As far as the 520, that's up to you. Less weight, but not as strong as a 530 which is stock now.

thanks for the tooth count and the only reason i want an x-ring chain is because it is about 50 bucks cheaper than an o-ring so im probably gonna go ahead and get the o-ring...... whats 50 bucks right lol

I have an RK x-ring on my F2 and as little as I have gotten to ride it recently, I still think it was a good move. Check www.indysuperbikes.com to see if they have what you are looking for.
