Does anyone know the OEM chain size for an '01? I'm lookin' to get a new chain but not sure on the right size. And I'm not lookin' to get a conversion kit- I've heard too many bad things about it.

 

i want to say 108 links, but im not sure, thtas 520 pitch. what's wrong with conversion kits. I absolutely love mine

 

Well, I was talking to a buddy of mine and he said something about the chain being lighter and therefore weaker than the OEM chain. He gave a couple worst case scenarios and pretty much destroyed any ideas I might have had on the conversion.
