I thought all sport bikes have tubeless tires. Can tubeless tires go flat? If not, why not switch to tubeless tires?

Tubeless tires means no possibility of getting a flat right?

My cbr600rr 07 says tubeless yet the manual says check tire pressures?

Tubeless means there is no innertube inside...like on a bicycle ....some crusiers are tubed....anything can go flat if the nail or screw is big enough to puncture both...

Yes. Any tire can go flat. Yes, my tires are tubeless (meaning no inner tube) just like yours. The manual says check tire pressure cause there is air in it.


Have you never gotten a flat in a car before??? Car tires are tubeless.

Okay, I get it now. Tubeless but not airless. Kept thinking tubeless = airless.

Don't ever remember seeing that little air stem thingy though, hmm.

 

You're brain was probably thinking "run flats". The car tires that you can still drive on when you get a hole in them but for only certain amount of miles. They still have air in them, just not a lot.
