Glad to hear that you and your wife are healing well. Also glad to hear that you fared out a lot better than it could have been, God was looking out for you guys... Good luck with the restoration and insurance details.

Thank you for posting this, it really helps keep my mind in the right frame as a new rider.

I commend you for taking responsiblity, but don't be too hard on your self, if those asshats would have not been over the line the wreck would not have happened either. There was more than one contributing factor that day. Wishes for a speedy recovery.
Exactly what I wanted to say. Good luck to you and heal up soon!

A couple weeks ago, we returned to the scene of swtpoet and my accident in a cage, while a couple of my riding buddies tagged a long. We stopped and took this photo of the embankment in which I climbed out of thought I would share it and if you're thinking of running the loop. I suggest you do it in full gear

Me too. Some people, actually very few people, live up to the title 'The Few, The Proud', but HARDCORP is an outstanding example. Literally, a mountain to climb, and what does he do, carries someone else up too!!! christ I wish there were civilian Medals of Honor.

To be honest, the old 1000 rehab took less time than my own. My brother-in-law done a great job of getting it back together. I am waiting on a double bubble windshield from across the pond. And of course there is this https://cbrforum.com/m_417726/tm.htm the side effects of the medication have eased off considerably, but we will see how things go after my surgery. As far as how I responded that day. I have answered that question in this thread. I think with my second or third post. I will also mention here that swt poet is considering buying her own bike. Now that she is back in the working force and Ryan is almost old enough to start, head start. Of course were talking some time next year absolutely can't blame her for not wanting to be a backseat after this ordeal
