Coping with winter!!
I guess I'm a kid, but I just put on more layers and go for it. I just got some heated gloves the other day. We don't get much snow around here, so no worries about that. Ice can be bad, but I don't leave the house into after noon.
thank you guys, I love picture taking ..hoepfully I can get better when I finally buy a decent DSLR but still in the research phase, takes me forever ..lol
Well, um ... the boat people are the boat people, right?? ..*giggles*
Ok, they are a combination of holiday makers, gypsy types and plain everyday folk who live on these boats ... you can hire a narrow boat for a holiday on the canals, some people have their own boats too which they keep moored and use it whenever they like ... my parents had a boat in the 1980's on these canals and we had many wonderful holidays and trips out on the boat ... I am very connected with these waters, they have been such a big part of my life and good times:-)
There are also people who have retired and bought a boat to live on ... they are amazing inside ..like the tardis bigger on the inside with fitted kitchens and flat panel TVs, comfortable bedrooms ... very comfortable and very warm with the right heating in them ... also you get gypsy types who run their trade from their boats, and move from town to town ... and all of the boat people have been the friendliest bunch of people I have ever known on this planet ... I have been to London and been jostled by rude angry people in a hurry to go nowhere fast ... I have walked many miles down these canals for years and never had anything but the sweetest and most polite conversations with these very friendly and laid back people, often they will go out of their way to help you and always with a smile and the offer of a nice hot cuppa ... it is another world here, one I shall never leave :-)
Jules
I don't think jules really takes those photos. They look suspiciously TOO good...I think she steals them from wallpaper sites and puts them on here, trying to look like she lives in new zealand or something.
OR
Jules is a government spy, trained in photography. Her vehicle of choice is a motorcycle for obvious reaons: quick, agile, gets in places a car cant, etc. She passes the time taking pictures of landscape and posting on here, but on work time, she's a vicious cold blooded killer.
but those are just theories...

You know, there is always one who has to go and call you out, isn't there??
... well then, how shall we end this one ... I always liked the Scooby Doo endings
..and I would have gotten away with it too if it hadn't been for you meddling kids and that damn dog!!
