Default Car Got Stolen This Morning

My mom's car was stolen this morning at about 5am. It's a 2000 Toyota Sienna (typical mom car). She was warming it up and she went back inside to get something. She came back out and it was gone! This sucks because I thought my neighborhood was somewhat safe. Things have changed. I hate people that steal. I hope they find that person and hang that person, or chop off his peepee if it's a dude!

Ehh.. if they did things to the car, I don't think we would want the car back. I'd rather have it totaled and we could get a new car. Good thing is that we have full coverage on that car, but we would still have to pay the deductible. I'm not sure, but the rates might go up as well.

I had a beautiful blacked out RX-7 stolen from my driveway. They found it like 3 days later stripped down to the frame. I don't think I ever quite trusted people the same after that happened. Sucks bro...collect on the insurance and get another car...trust me you wontwant to drive it again. Not after somebody has been in it like that

Good luck with the insurance company seeing how leaving the keys in the car is an "assested robbery".

you didn't run into any trouble with the insurance company trying to pull "negligible...." whatever . basically saying your mom contriubted to her car getting stolen because she left the car running

It's actually a citation in MD, 250 dollarsI believe for leaving a vehicle unattended, running. I know an officer who absolutely loves giving them out. Sorry for the loss, but it's almost like inviting someone to steal it when you do that. I don't mean to sound harsh at all

Yeah, and the insurance companies don't have to pay out a dime. Good luck though.

Sorry to hear about the car being jacked... hopefully the In. Co. doesn't give your mum any grief.

That's actually what I was worrying about. Hopefully, it won't be a problem. I was trying to find info on it, but I guess we'll see. Thanks all.
