I woke up late for class today because Fat Tuesday celebrations last night. Im in a rush and on one of the busiest roads in Tallahassee. Im in the process of making a turn and give it too much gas for my cold tires and back end gets loose and I go down. Bike went down hard on the right side. My hip took the majority of the impact so the bike didnt get too beat up. Complete stupidity on my part cause I know better than to rush a cold bike. Luckily I was wearing all my gear and my jacket saved my arm from some good road rash. The worst part about all this was I was about to just go back to sleep and skip class. Now Im in need of a new tail (black) and right upper and lower fairing (black and tribal). Anyone know where I can get these on the cheap?

 

Hey man, sorry to hear that. That same thing about happened to me two mornings ago. I amthinkingabout going with some Meitzler tires because they claim to require 0 warm up time. But even if they do, they should warm faster than others.

As far as the piece, I just saw a few OEM on eBay sunday when I was looking for parts, so I would check that out maybe.

Glad your alright! Ebay has what you need. Damn that sounds like an advertisment. Be careful what you buy, there is thread on this forum about a guy not getting what he paid for on ebay.
