Can't sleep ...
Routine is very important. Also, use your bed ONLY for sleeping (ok, not ONLY sleeping, but I think you know what I mean). Do NOT watch TV, read books, study, or talk on the phone in bed.
I have also been told that if you can't fall asleep in the first 30 minutes to an hour, get up and do something for 10 minutes (not tv) and then try to go back to bed.
Personally, I have a hard time sleeping without a fan. I like to cool breeze and the ambient noise helps too.

running is how i do it, If i get up at 7 or 8, no naps durring the day, run for 30min to an hour, dinner by 5pm and no caffine or sugars after 5pm, i sleep like a baby, if i let any one of those things slip it messes me all up. Thats why im often on the forums at 2am still trying to find someone to talk to lol.
