Now, Now... If you don't have boots, gloves, full leathers, and a helmet strapped to your head even if you are only going down the block, no one on cbr forum will be your friend. And you will be ridiculed unremittingly... They will probably even call you a squid troll-troll squid. And don't ya know, the only chicken strips anyone on CBRF has comes in a basket with some fries and bbq sauce. I bought a helmet so I could fit in on CBRF and in hopes that one day I will be cool enough for them to be my friend.

well over 80% of the people i see out riding around here dont have they're helmets on especially the harley people since milwaukee is home of harley there are tons of them, its just the way it is with a no helmet law state i guess, and im sure everyone wears they're seat belt in the there car too.. YEA RIGHT! thats actually illegal not wearing your helmet in wisconsin isnt granted it is a safe habit to follow but when its 90 degrees out and 85% humidity where you sweat just steppin outside i'll leave the helmet at home, i dont care how dumb anyone thinks that is thats just the way it is for most people around my area

I live in Chicago so I get the heat and the humidity trust me be some A hole is not going to magically see you and not cut you off or not hit you just because it is hot. Stupid drivers don't become smart when it is hot and stupid again when it is cool. your an adult and can make your own decisions but I am living proof that gear will not only save your skin but your life.

well not everywhere has a-hole retard drivers like in chicago thats a top notch city for that, most of my driving is in the country im lucky to see 10 cars on an afternoon ride, but yea if i head to illinois i definetly wear my helmet i did the rocket ride down there a few times always jacket and helmet, but im not gearin up with gloves helmet jacket the whole nine to go for a cruise where i dont break 50 thru the back country roads and sweat my ***** off cause thats real fun, and mr. "im living proof" ive lost 2 people who were wearin full gear, your helmet aint gunna stop your back, neck or any other bone from gettin broke or gettin impaled from a flyin piece of metal, and i lost a friend in a car accident and they found after investigation that it was the seat belt that actually killed her, so granted there are more cases than not where a helmet or seat belt saved someones life, there are plenty where they didnt, still plenty of other ways to die why your wearin your gear, my uncle got hit by a school bus, wearin his helmet and leathers but that didnt protect him when the rear wheels ran him over, he died from internal injuries on the way to the hospital, so no i dont wear my helmet all the time sorry if id rather be comfortable, but they're are plenty of times that i do, i dont treat my helmet like an invinceable security blanket like some people do thinking they can do anything and their helmet will save them, i rely more on my riding ability to react and my constant awareness of everything that is around me when i am on the road.

You can't tell me what WI has the best drivers out there. There are A holes drivers everywhere and where you live is no different. Stretch I don't care what you do or don't do. If you get in a wreck and die cause you weren't wearing a lid its no sweat off my back but your family and friends might care What do you think would have happened to my head if I wasn't wearing this.

Now I am not saying that full gear will save your life no matter what. It doesn't make you superman but you do have a better chance of living and/or walking away with it and you can't argue that.
