Yeah Minnesota/Wisconsin drivers are by far the least attentive people I've seen on the road.

OTOH, there's a lot to be said for a bike that pulls like a train in any gear at any rpm, especially in city traffic

Whatever else you might think about Hayabusas, you have to give Suzuki credit for the most brilliant name of all time . . . since it's Japanese for a type of falcon that preys on blackbirds. I'm a Blackbird rider and even I think that's awesome

Lots of busas around here in urban/ghetto areas. No gear. One day when I was leaving work. I was sitting at a stop sign waiting to turn and a guy on a blinged out busa with shorts, tshirt, shades gelled up hair lol. He straightened up after the sharp turn, looked at me at the stop sign, cracked a wheelie and rode off until I couldnt see him anymore.
There was another guy I would see when going home from work on US50 on one. It had nitrous and everything on it. He would be riding with his helmet hanging on the side of his bike. I saw the guy all the time and he was never wearing his helmet, but it was always hanging there. I dont get that at all.

Not everybody feels as if it is necessary to wear a lid, yea we can play this "what if" game but guess what its just a game. my concern when ridin my bike is myself. i dont care bout the gear somebody is wearin, or which foot they place on the ground, or how much chrome or stretch they have......i check the bike out to see if its nice regardless of the make......what if what if what if........

a phrase to live by:
Scan your lane......

You stretch are extremely ignorant. And nice come back, insult my riding skills yet you have no idea if this was my fault or not. If you were an educated rider you would know that proper gear is made to breathe very easy and therefore you don't get hot while riding. This thread is about Hayabusa's not if you should wear your gear so lets leave it about Hayabusa's. If you want to continue this start another thread about how you're the coolest guy ever for not wearing gear.

never said i thought i was cool for not wearin gear but you all seem to be so cool for wearin and rippin on the people that dont so who is ignorant shouldnt matter the circumstances of the accident my bike class instructor taught us that almost every motorcyle accident is avoidable if you really pay attention to your surroundings ive dodged plenty of accidents by just either keepin my distance gettin out of the way and quick maneuvering, and this all got started from you and others talkin crap about the people that dont gear up all the time, didnt hear me talk crap about those who do till they came at me, so again who is ignorant, if you woulda just kept your face shut all this wouldnt have happened so why dont you try that, sorry to all the people wanting to discuss Busa's that all this took up space on the thread.
