This random dude from work??? NO WAY.

Only 2 people in this world that I would let on my 11 year old bike. One is my brother, and the other is a friend I ride with every week who I've known for more than 18 years. This is discounting any circumstance where someone offered me a lot of money to ride my extremely average, old bike.

I let a co-worker ride my bike in the parking lot. He returned it unscathed.

But most of the time I would say no.

My dad was about the only person I totally trusted with all my bikes but then he did teach me everything I know about them, and, if he was still here I would let him ride my new 600RR all day, no question ... I do have a confession, I gave my brother a go of it based on the fact I know he is not an idiot, is wealthy and would replace with new in a heartbeat if he dumped it ... I was nervous watching him take it off up the lane in the summer for his 15 minute spin ... he came back ashen faced and said I was mad for wanting so much power ..lol

Now, just someone I know at work who couldn't replace it if they crashed ... you've got to be kidding ..lol

I'm with you Shadow! No way unless the full purchase price was in my hand...and in that case it wouldn't be my bike.

I'd let someone ride my bike if they let me ride their wife.

That's how I feel about it.

I have. My buddy wanted to drive my bike(this is before the amount of work I put into it recently). I knew even if he did drop it it was all getting repaired. The one rule is what you break is what you buy..which he is cool with. YET...now I wont let anybody drive it. Based on it almost being complete...I want to be the one that ruins it if it has to be anyone.

With the cash in my hand I might. Thing is you cant get another one in the same shape. I have been tossed the keys to Gold Wings and a Harley, both with maybe a higher "blue book" value, but absolutely NOT ! I would go so far as to say, I won't let anyone touch it ! You can look, dont even think about raising a leg over it.
I'm with you Juliet, Never, does that work for you ? Not for love or money....
