Bikes and stoplights
I doubt a bike and rider are heavy enough for a weighted sensor... but for the magnetic ones, here's a tip we got when I took the msf course: If you're stuck at a sensor light, try shutting off your bike and turning it back on... if it's a magnetic sensor, it'll usually do the trick
Luckily, most of the lights around me are timed, and the ones that actually do have sensors are magnetic

Dont know how SC does it but most have large magnets, and your bike isnt metal. In WI if it fails to change we can just go when clear
