Bikes and stoplights
Ha well I got a funny story on this subject. Alright so I guess stupidity got the best of me one night on my way home. Ok so I was getting off of the exit ramp on the highway. I see a cop is helping someone in the other lane behind me with something, who knows what. Well I am sitting here at this light and five mins go by, and im think WTF is this ever gonna change. The cop is still standing there helping them and ten mins go by. Well i say f it and just go, I mean what is the cop gonna do jump in his car and run me down cause he saw me sit there for ten minutes. So i am on my way and about half a mile down the road there is a police roadblock. Go figure its a DUI check point and you guessed it they stopped me and asked what I was doing running red lights and I explained my situation.
Eh they were not to happy and they called up the officer who saw me. He met up with us and asked when my last ticket was. I havent ever had a ticket in my life so i guess that helped. He then proceded to tell me that I just wasnt on the sensor cause when he pulled up it turned to green right away. lol
I usually pull up enough for the car behind me to trip the sensor. There was one light that was on my way to work from my old apt, and it always always stayed red. So I just pulled up if I was the first one at the light. As for some of the weighted ones, your bike wont do it no matter what, I think this one was weighted. Also, at my apt, I had to hit the sensor just right for it to go, usually I would pull up at an angle that way if it didnt work, I could pull a circle and try again. Sometimes I would have to do 4-5 circles before it opened, people probably thought I was mental.
