Default Bad accident

So, I'm out in the garage last night and all of a sudden I hear ~Boooooom!!~ I knew what it was right away. There is a bad highway intersection about 200ft away and people crash all the time there. I jump in the truck to go help, 3rd on the scene. What I see is an F-150 in the middle of the road and another car that was heading perpindicular to the truck, the I notice some awkward headlights 150ft away. I walk up to the ford to find the whole front end gone! From the front bumber to the winshield was pretty much gone. 3 young kids and 2 adults in that vehicle. I proceed to the headlights I seen. Omg its a semi on its side with no rear axles!! I then go to the 3rd car to check if everyones ok. They had damage all down the side of their car. The man stated the dually axle just came flying at him head on, ripping down the left side of his car then proceeded another 75ft down the highway. The semi did some major damage to the asphault as it skidded down the highway as well. Pretty intense. I never seen so much debris in an accident, looked like a bomb went off. The ford was loaded with large appliances that were sent down the road as well.

The 3 children in the truck were not wearing seatbelts, one had to be rushed to the hospital. Other that that everyone was alright. Just wanted to share that story.

Shoes, were are my shoes!!! fQck shoes, I'm going out shoeless.... (yea, thats from one of the funniest people alive ... Dane Cook)

Well hopefully the little kid is alright. Parents should be making them wear their seatbelts. So what caused the accident. Did the truck hit the Semi, or did the axle snap?

What kind of A-hole doesn't buckle their kids in? They are lucky for sure!

Yeah stupid to not buckle em in. They were very lucky. I think the ford was pulling out as the semi was going by and drove right under it and got ran over by the rear tires which blew off upon impact.

90% of the vehicles that I see in my area wether they have TX plates or Mexico plates do not have their children in car seats or seat belts. Every time I drive anywhere I see kids either standing up on the front seat or sitting on their parents lap. You would think that the US Customs Officers would say something to the people from Mexico when they come accross the border with 2 or 3 small children and no car seats in the car. I am not sure whst the fine iss in Texas but I know in Illinois it was a $500 fine and a mandatory appearance in front of the judge.
