What's this thing with you clicking into 3rd gear?? i dont know about you but my bike is in thriple digits easy in 3rd gear..I was in 4th on the freeway in low RPM'S put it into 3rd to get my Rpms up..

The most amusing part is that our bikes arent really designed for straight line top speed like the busa or ZX-14, they are designed for cornering and power to get around a track fast. You aren't impressing anyone. Going fast takes no skill at all, just a disregard for safety.

You know, if people kept calling me out about not having a bike, and I really owned and maintained a CBR...you can bet your *** I would take pictures or do something to prove how much everyone's **** stinks.
But...if I didn't have a bike...there wouldn't be much point in arguing it...I'd probably just not talk about it and hope it goes away...or maybe concentrate on totally irrelevant gearing questions. lol Posers are as posers do, Forrest...

It reminds me of a taxi driver who took me home from the bike shop a few months ago. He asked what kind of bike I had and I told him... then he went on to describe to me and my wife that he once had a 2000cc sport bike and stopped riding because he took it out on the freeway and crashed at... get this... 450 kph (like 278 mph).
I just sat there rolling my eyes, but I think my wife actually believed him. Until we got out and I had to explain to her that it was impossible.
