Top speed verification runs aren't done by speedo because they are way off at those speeds.

Supra V12...248.55 MPH...ok? That vette was doing a standing mile test....not a top speed test....226 in a standing mile on pump gas at low boost(21psi if i'm not mistaken)...that car can do well over 300mph...

The supra is a good building platform yes...but it's not God of cars

That supra is also a boosted 12 cylinder 5.0L(1gzfe) making 800hp(lol)...lol that boosted vette makes 1100hp on pump gas, low boost(21psi...low for those turbo's and the motor), and 8 cylinders(7.0L LS7)..., it made over 1500hp in testing with smaller turbos and lower boost than what the now larger turbo's that are fitted can run...if you look at the motors stock for stock...that crappy v12 makes just under 300hp...i swear we have Cadillacs from the late 90's pushing that with just 8 cylinders and .4liters less displacement..the stock LS7...don't think i need to go any further

 

You guys can talk bikes vs cars, or turbos, or lambos, all you want. Hell you can even argue street legal only with me for all i care. As far as im concerned 4 wheels is the fastest thing out there period, american made v-8*s. Come back to me when you have this beaten, until then discussion over.
