Anyone have info about 600rr redesign
the new 1krr looks amazing in person online pictures don't do it any justice. As far as the 600RR it's so good right now I don't think we'll see a "rework" especially with this economy until 2011 at the earliest. They just added ABS to it and they will want to get some money out of the plants making the bike before they have to retool the whole place for a new bike.

The ABS option adds a grand to the price, drops the horsepower a titch (not sure how) and adds weight (24lbs
), but if you need to stop fast in the rain I imagine you'd love it.
Other than that option, a crossover balance tube on the exhaust header and a muffler valve, as well as a new shot peening process they used on the intake ports (supposed to slightly boost midrange a bit). It's using the front 1krr frontbrakes now and they've also added some more material to the lower fairing to hide the optional abs components. The blinkers have also been finally changed as well, still ugly though IMO. Other than all that pretty much the same bike as last year.
Info's all gleened from the latest SportRider if anyones interested.
