im in the process of switching my subframe out with the 600rrs

If my memory serves me correctly, the F3 subframe is WELDED to the main frame and you would have to cut it off!!
and the 600RR is way smaller, so you would have to make mounting points and use the seats, ect..THAT IS A BIG JOB

 

That would be a lot of work indeed, and I can't imagine what you would gain. Other than an aluminum subframe, but so what?
I'd like to hear the rest of the story.

 

my friend took his wife's f3 and chopped off the subframe. he welded some steel adaptors that were female threaded to accomodate the bolt on CBR100RR subframe. He used the 1000 stock exhaust and fabricated his own mid pipe. I don't know if the set up is strong enough for a passenger, but it's an interesting piece of work. Either you like it, or as a die hard F2/F3 fan you absolutely hate it and am disgusted. I'll have to get some pictures posted when he's back in town. You guys would love this and i'm not kidding!!!

 

sorry to say, but he sold it. i'm sure he does have some pictures though. it's an interesting piece of work though. it's possible though, cause i've seen it with my own two eyes. crazy i say!!!
