Intentionally closing through market: people get mad
An outside source crashes the market: people get scared.
There would be an impact. But i seriously doubt their ability to cause more than a nuisance to the nyse info page. And affect the actual market not at all. Too many redundancy and backups.
And from a political standpoint it'd be a declaration of war against the US and possibly other countries. I don't think it'd be the fbi the overseas members of Anon would have to worry about. I can see the govt dropping the leash on the NSA and CIA to find them. And make an example out of, since both agencies are legally bound from operating on US soil. But cause the US that type of harm and live outside the US?
They'd be classified Terrorists and look what happened to Osama, who had a much tighter organization. So yeah i think someone in Anon sent the message. And guys who aren't suicidal said "NO WAY!"
