hey there Terry and welcome!! :-)
It's not about if you are too old for the 125, it's all you can ride for now ... I think you should just enjoy your 125 and forget about what anyone does or doesn't think ... it's a bike and fun at the end of the day, if you like the looks then that is even better :-)
When you pass your test it will be easy to sell on too :-)
Good luck and enjoy the forums!!
Jules :-)

Welcome
Hiyu Terry ...
I am going to ak you a personal question mate ....how much do you weigh ??
The 125RR;s are good , no doubt , but the 250RR is very sweet and might have that little bit of carrying capacity if you are a few Kgs heavier that the average 10 year old ...??
Welcome to the CBRF
I saw a new add here in Melbourne / Aus for the new CBR125RR only a day or so ago ,
....they must still be popular !
BTW : Need any help around here just PM me :-)

There's plenty of 125cc's here in Norway. A lot of them look like kids bikes, with plastic everywhere. Meaning, they're small.
However, you do have some 125cc's that rival the big boys in terms of frame size.
Something you should think about. I've owned a 110cc dirt bike once, an el-cheapo, but the thing is, it looked like a 500cc bike (minus the engine). Fit me well.
I don't know how the 125 CBR's look like in regards to size, but If it fits your body frame, go for it.
It's not always about power under the hood, it's also about the riding experience. What's the use of having a 1200cc bike if you don't like driving it?
Good luck on finding your bike. I got my fingers crossed for ya!
