Welcome to the forum Jay.
Good that you finally made it official! Watch out, CBRF can become addicting...and we don't stink like a gym.

What do you ride around Boston?

Well lets see.. i've been riding longer than probably most than the guys and gals that are on the site "24 years"
And i curently have two 95 cbr900's

and i've had my share of bikes here i'll do a quick list.
also mostly every bike i ever owned i bought new and crashed at least twice..
1988 suzuki katana : first year i started driving. ugg..
1990 zx6
1991 zx6
1992 honda f2
1988 slingshot
1993 cbr900rr
1994 zx7
2-1995cbr900rr
theses last two cbr's i just bought last month, from seperate owners..
and call it a midlife crisis, i think it fits haha, but seriously i've ridden something my entire life.. if i wasnt on two wheels i was on four.. Four wheelers i mean "polaris/suzuki Lt400 ........well thanks guys for the welcome.. you'll see me around especially this winter.. as i'll probably be working on one or the other.. and i'll probably do some how to's from my persepective of course.. i've already done a carburator cleaning on both of my "new to me machines" but i'm doing complete overhaul on at least one of them this winter, so i'll be doing some posting.

jay....

I wouldn't be so sure about that. ;-) All j/k aside, we have some very experienced riders here. Nevertheless, you have a lot of experience & we certainly appreciate adding you to our collective. The more experienced riders here - the better. Younger/newb riders can gain valuable insights from us experienced guys. Even if its after the fact. ;-)

Good to have you w/ us.

well thank u guys for the welcome..
A big part of joining was because i know i have some experience to share..
although my plan isnt to be the old guy in his window calling the cops on the teenagers drinking..lol although i should, little pluckers leave a mess everytime they're down there..

I actually use the site for reference and gaggle of ideas from everones vast experiences, its nice going through all the threads especially from the begining. jezz in 1988 when i started out, none of this exisisted.. and dont get me wrong but i probably would have still endured the plates, screws and bolts that have been attached to every limb of my body.. lol
thats how much i love to ride, the first accident would have sent anyone reasonable in the other direction.. nope i had the fever and 25 years later" still do.. but maybe in some thread somwhere i might come accross someone who needs the right advice and hopefully our experiences (gotcbr) will shine through the message and resonate.. anyway thanks for the warm welcome.and of course keep riding..
.jay
