Default Oil

gday why would bike bike use most of its oil in 168 kilometres blows no smoke either ? Cheers

As far as I know, oil can only escape 3 ways.

1. Gets burned off - check exhaust for greasy/oily deposit.

2. Leaks - normally pretty obvious if it's a lot, but if it's just some drips, place a clean sheet of cardboard under the bike when it's parked up overnight.

3. Through the cylinder-head gasket - check for oil in the coolant, will be a thick creamy sludge if you've lost a lot.
