Well, a little about me.

My name is Russ, I live on Cape Ann in MA.

I started riding this season, on my CBR 600 SE Smokin' Joes.
I've been really enjoying riding, and haven't been able to get on the bike enough. I've been cruising this site here and there for awhile to look at pictures and learn what I could, and thought now might be a good time to finally register.

Hopefully I'll continue to benefit from the info and knowledge here!

A little about my bike, I got it last December, I started looking in October 08 for a Bike, and settled on a Honda CBR because I wanted something reliable and sporty. I had a budget, so brand new was out of the question. I ended up following my bike for a month or so and watching the price drop as the guy had trouble moving it. I finally dropped him a line and threw him an offer, he had other higher offers coming to check the bike out, but sure enough I got a call within a week, the rest is history. Walked away with a 98 CBR 600 SE Smokin' Joes with 6,500 or so on the clock for $2,350. Which I thought was a helluva decent price.

Bikes been down before, but all the plastics are solid, and the paint matches. Covers are scratched, but otherwise everythings there and in pretty good shape considering.



Paint Job has grown on me since I got it, at first I was a little turned off. But chicks seem to dig it.

Classic colors and bike you got there... I remember when those came out.
Good deal on a very cool bike, man!

 

$2350 for 6.5k miles? That's more than a helluva decent price. Obviously when its time to buy my next bike, I'll add MA to my search.

I'm usually up in Cape Cod at least once a year cause my girl is from there
