Newb to Bikes

RE: Newb to Bikes
Hello & Welcome!!
As I recently said in another noob thread....Being comfortable is the most important thing. I started on a 250, then after a year moved up to an F4i. I'm 5'2.5" and weight about 130lbs. This is a big bike for me, but I've gotten used to it and handle it fine. I am no longer using larger boots to lift myself up and I'm comfortable. I rode my man's RR, but it just doesn't fit me. The positioning, etc. Just sit on a couple of bikes and determine it from there. Good Luck in your search!

A 600cc sportbike is fast for us noobs but if you exercise some self control you'll be fine. In my opinion sportbikes are easier to ride than a cruiser, there is something about having some weight on your wrist and hands that make me feel more comfortable and connected to the bike.
Just take it easy after you get your bike for a long while and you'll love it.
