Hey guys, I've got a 600rr in red/black. Previous experience riding but I still took over 3 weeks riding it around my neighborhood about an hour a day before I took it on the streets. It's got a full Yoshi system with the carbon fiber muffler, integrated rear lamp, one tooth down in front, sliders, and some custom tribal designs in the lower part of the black decals. Anyways, it's good fun and if I get my camera on my computer at some point I'll post some pics.
Now I have a question. My Yosh exhaust doesn't allow for the factory license plate mount so I have it mounted on the right rear swing arm. Yesterday, the good old university klop pulled me over saying 'it has to be mounted up here' and 'I couldn't see it'. I stood behind it today at different elevations and you can clearly see that thing. Does anyone know Michigan law on this? I would be interested in hearing other state laws and personal experiences as well. Funny thing is the previous owner was pulled over with it mounted there and the SHERIFF didn't say anything about it. I'm wondering if the university cop was simply bored or simply jealous.
