New CBR RR owner + Sportbike rider
HEY HEY!! Found these forums when i was researching for a new bike and looking at 600 info so i figured i might as well set up my account since i just put a deposit on a 06 600RR today. Im gonna have to finalize the deal either tomorrow or monday, whenever i can get to my bank and get the money. I think i got a really sweet deal, im not the one to impulse buy so i have done my research on prices and all but i got a 06 with just over 2000 miles for $5500 here in SoCal which seems to be an awesome price. The bikes stock with the ONLY flaw is the guy droped it on its left side, not while riding sitting still, so it cracked the left side fairing a bit, but plastic damage is a few $$$$ but all said and done i believe its still a great starter bike since im coming from the offroad side of motorcycling. Im sure this is the belief of about 99% here LOL but i feel i got a trully reliable bike that i can learn on easily (with some patience FOR SURE) and will suit me for a few years that ill have it. Im gonna so check some other threads out and figure out how i can post a pic, but ill get on up shortly i hope.

Hey Hey denn. Gongrats on the new bike. I to went from dirt bikes to a 600 sport bike, but with a lotof years in between. Thelearning curve came easy, but your right about being patient. These bikes are crazy fast and can get you in trouble before you know it. You should still consider an MSF course. Welcome , and have fun.
