Welcome to the board! And Wow! 17 year hiatus ... a lot has changed in that time. A 600RR is putting down more power than pretty much anything made back then.

Go to the May ROTM voting thread and VOTE (it is your duty) and make sure to post up some pics of the new ride

Yeah my old Honda 750 from the mid 80's was a whole different animal than this rocket!

hey there!! :-)

..and please don't say 35 is middle aged, noooo!! I only have a year to go ..lol
surely mid 40's is middle aged in this day and age ;-)

Anyway, welcome to the forums .. I just got the 600RR myself and am in love :-)

enjoy and be safe!!

Jules

Congrats on being back in it. I jumped back in myself a year ago after a 20 year hiatus from riding. I was 40 then and went right to the 1000RR. I am happy to say I have had no accidents or close calls, just remember to respect the power until you get your "legs" back under you.

Don't worry Jules, turning 35 is nothing. You are right, mid-40's is middle age - at least until I turn 45 and then I will say 50.

Default Older riders

I'm glad to see that I'm not the only 30+ rider out there. It's comforting to know that I don't have to be 20 to ride a sportbike. ...I don't mean that as any sort of insult to the younger (age) riders. My perception was that sportbike riders were as majority, younger. I was wrong and I'm glad to see it!! Whew, now I don't feel so out of place on my ride!! Thanks
