Default New Rider and owner of 1994 CBR600F2

Hey guys new owner and rider here. Recently acquired this bike in a trade due to the fact I have always wanted one and wanted to learn the ins and outs of this lifestyle. Few things that he said the bike needed fixed are : new rectifier and battery 2. Speedometer ( which I think may just need the speed sensor hooked up correctly ) 3. Needs new fairing on right side but I believe instead of replacing one piece Ill just buy a brand new complete set. ANY help and advice would be appreciated and I will post pics of it shortly. Hope to get this bike lined out and running smooth for the summer here in Kentucky

Welcome to the CBR Forum,

We have had soooooooo many CBR600 members join lately we could have our own racing series!

The 600 guys should be along to answer your questions, though now you;ve said hello, it may be posting directly into the relevant forum.

Post pics when you can and best of luck with your bike.

Cheers, SB

Welcome to the forum.

Those are all fairly easy items to fix. It doesn't have a speed sensor though, it's cable driven off the front wheel hub. Other than that, search some r/r threads to familiarize yourself with them. I know that the connectors tend to fry as well.

Good luck getting her going.

Would a local Honda dealer but willing to fix all of these problems in one visit?? From the little I have looked I have had a hard time finding Fairings for this bike. Needs a little TLC but should look good after I get some things lined out on it.
