Default New owner/rider in Miami

Hey all,

Well, I made the jump. Over the years I have been a car guy. I built an 11 second 500whp SRT-4, had an Evo 9 MR, got a Honda Fit put in Modified Magazine, now I have my Lexus IS250. Unfortunately, for me, or more for my wife, I am an impulse buyer and I miss the power of the earlier 2 cars. It has been 10 years since I rode but I figured I would make the jump.

Nonetheless, I brought home my 2008 Graffiti CBR600RR. I know I picked a smaller bike, but I figured it was best since I haven't ridden in so long. It rides great and looks even better. It is definitely different than an old 600 cruiser when I was younger. The insurance was NUTS but I opted out for some things to bring it down to something realistic. I am almost 30 but I guess Miami is a big theft town, and 20-30 range are the "racers" which I can't/won't do due to work reasons, family reasons, etc. I just wanted something different.

Anyway, for the locals, my name is Kris. I am married with 3 kids and I live just south of Miramar. So, drop me a line. would be nice to find someone to ride with that isn't too crazy as my craziness is kind of missing right now.

Kris

Thanks! Been browsing the boards tonight as I get my daughter to go to sleep. Learning a lot. I am an impulse buyer and the CBR is no exception.....But oh well. Only live once!

Wow...Small world. Yeah, I am just south of Miramar Parkway. Sucks about your old bike. Glad you got a new one. I would hate to ride in DC. Hell, I hate riding in Miami just because people are nuts! Take care bro and good luck up there.

Yeah...and hot women too. Drivers do suck around here though. I see you're in IHB. My home office is in Satellite Beach. I will drop you a line when I head up there if I go on the bike.
