New owner/rider in Miami
Hey all,
Well, I made the jump. Over the years I have been a car guy. I built an 11 second 500whp SRT-4, had an Evo 9 MR, got a Honda Fit put in Modified Magazine, now I have my Lexus IS250. Unfortunately, for me, or more for my wife, I am an impulse buyer and I miss the power of the earlier 2 cars. It has been 10 years since I rode but I figured I would make the jump.
Nonetheless, I brought home my 2008 Graffiti CBR600RR. I know I picked a smaller bike, but I figured it was best since I haven't ridden in so long. It rides great and looks even better. It is definitely different than an old 600 cruiser when I was younger. The insurance was NUTS but I opted out for some things to bring it down to something realistic. I am almost 30 but I guess Miami is a big theft town, and 20-30 range are the "racers" which I can't/won't do due to work reasons, family reasons, etc. I just wanted something different.
Anyway, for the locals, my name is Kris. I am married with 3 kids and I live just south of Miramar. So, drop me a line. would be nice to find someone to ride with that isn't too crazy as my craziness is kind of missing right now.
