New Member, F4/F4I/600RR comparison article?
I've been riding for a few years now. I started on a 89 hurricane, moved to a 929, and then went bike less do to a move and an accident. I broke my hip 4 months ago pretty bad, on stairs strangely enough, and am almost to the point where I can ride again. I loved the 929, but missed nature of the 600.
I'd like to pick up a F4, FI, or 600RR in the next couple of months, but wasn't too sure what direction to go. I live a bit further than I did before from the twisties and enjoying going for 2+ hour rides and had some concerns a 600RR would be too uncomfortable for longer rides. Is there a good comparison article around some where? I didn’t some searching, but didn't come up with what I was looking for.

My buddy has an 06 600RR and he says his *** burns on long runs. We did a couple of 150+ mile rides and he needed to rest his *** quite a bit. I've got an 05 F4i and I am as comfortable as can be.
I've done a few rides with buddies who have the 600RR, zx6r, and a sV650. I'd say on long rides I have it the best. I feel I made the best choice because I can still enjoy the twisties while feeling comfortable in the saddle. I also use my bike as a daily commuter with much joy.
Bottom line if you plan on long rides, I'd say the F4i is the best choice.
Hope it helps. I might be a little biased but I think the F4i is the s%^t.

Do a search on this because there are about 20 threads on this subject. My take is that the F4i is simply more comfortable, the RR may be faster on the track and better looking (my opinion)....but comfort matters, that is why I have the F4i. Try to sit on both for a while before you buy.
