Caliper comparison: F4/F4i vs 600RR
I'm installing a 600RR swing arm on my F4 and thought I would post some comparison pics of the calipers. As part of this swap I needed the 600RR caliper bracket and it came out cheaper for me to get one with the bracket than without (ebay auction). I decided to compare them and found they are identical other than:
- gold vs black
- the pad pins are different but interchangeable (F4 has a pin and setscrew vs 600RR is just a pin)
Figured I'd post this up for future info.
Chris
Update: This only holds true through 2006 600RR. In 2007, the 600RR caliper and bracket changed. As such, the older calipers are not interchangeable with the new calipers.

Yeah it is, but it also looks retarded if you don't have gold fronts to match.
I'm going to use my factory F4 caliper and sell the RR caliper (I have a listing in the forsale section) since both are pristine and I want all black on this bike.
Not sure exactly what year the RR caliper came from as is was an ebay score and it listed as "03 04 05 06 Honda Cbr 600rr Rear Brake Caliper Bracket".
