Default New Kid! With a problem..

Alright Guys,
Problem on my hands, first. I'm kinda young, actually, turning 16 in a couple months, going for the bike license. soon as I can, any idea on how much insurance is gunna be?

Plus. My dad just gave me an offer, go to Puerto Plata in the Dominican for 1200 bucks, or, save for my bike. hard decision. anyone feelin up to helpin a new kid?

~Lovell.

Oh, and. for a starter bike? what should I go for? I really want a 600 f4i, but I'm not sure if it'll be too powerful for a starter.

Don't take the wrong way, but if you are anything like is was at 16, a 600 f4i is WAAAAYYYYY too much bike. It is just a focus/maturity thing, don't think I am putting you down, not at all. I think about all the near death experiences I had in a 145 hp 1979 mustang and I know if I were on a 95 HP bike, I really wouldn't have survived my teens intact.

Try a smaller bike through high school, then for college get the F4i. You will be a better rider for it. And by the way, save the foriegn trips for college, then they will be BIG fun.
