new here and need opinions!
ok heres my dilemma. My dad is trading his mustang to get me a bike. Heres my choices...
1. 1998 cbr 900 rr, vance and hines exhaust, chrome rims, 12" extended swingarm, lowered, cbr engraved handgrips, and 20K miles, never laid down and runs great. Red and black
2. 1999 cbr 900 rr, stock, runs great, 16K miles. Green
What do you all think?

Wow, sounds like a win-win here. What's your riding style? I've never been a huge fan of stretched bikes that are dressed up, but that's just me. There are all kinds physics issues that come into play once you start changing the way the bike was meant to perform. Have you ever tried cornering on a lowered/stretched bike? I get all excited when I see "stock" bikes because my mind starts turning circles about all the things I can do to them. Budget, personal preference, and riding style are going to help make this decision for you. If you can, post up some pics of each bike. Opinions run rampant around here so pics will definitely get your post some looks.

Well we went with the 1998 900RR. It was the better bike in our opinion. Thanks for all the help guys. Sorry I couldnt get pictures up before hand but im in Iraq right now and its been a pretty busy week to say the least. I will try to post pics later today. I do have a question though. The bike has been lowered and dad said that if you arent careful then the kickstand scrubs. What can we do about this? Is there an easy remedy. Thanks in advance
