new to cbr forums
hello everyone just found this cool place.I will be posting some pic of my 1987 cbr 1000 hurricane it is a major project the guy i bought it from dogged it to death. But with a little honda magic i will be bring it back to life.I just have to remove all the black spray paint lol it going to be lots of striping to clean it up. Will be posting pic of before,durning and alot of after pic too. I am john farrington a motorcycle mech from daytona beach florida. No i dont own a harley but i did own a ninja one time. I have come to love the cbr 1000 22 years old and as dependable as a new bike.the engine on this 22 year od honda is very strong and has nrever been cracked open hmm bet the harley guys cant say that.hope to hear for some other cbr1000f hurricane owners as i am all ways looking for sites and place to purchase parts to make my hurricane look new again.

We have heaps of 1000F members here that om sure will be more than happy to chime in and help you if you need it at any time ...
She sounds like a bit of a project , but projects can be fun ...
Drop down into the Hurricane section and say hi ...start your own project thread mate to post up all your 1000F details and the before and after pics ..

Like Classic said, come on over to the Hurricane section and say hello there, too. We're both over there most of the time, and would love to see pics of your bike and your progress on it. Just a great bike... no doubt about it, and we have tons of good people in the 'Cane section that would agree..
