Yes, it's quite the bike.
But recently, a frat-boy from Louisiana riding a Toyota Tacoma decided it would be fun to change lanes into me and well... we all know what happens.

BAD NEWS: my bike looked like red, black, and white puzzle pices. (i taped her back temporarily to get back home.
GOOD NEWS: i recovered fine with only a bruise on my back and a sad face. (thanks Fulmer and Joe rocket)

BAD NEWS: he braked to stop, but drove away from the accident before i got his license plate.
GOOD NEWS: our football team won that game, and most of the damage was cosmetic.

SOOOOO, after dragging it back to my apartment, I decided to put her back together and get her working again!!

YEY!!!

And so began the parts ordering.... and yes, some of them happened to be from Hong Kong.
DUN DUN DUN...

But, this last month has been crazy fun and I've done lots of mods to my bike THANKS TO YOU GUYS for your awesome tutorials, walkthroughs, and advice.

I have many pictures and yes, she finally runs-ish now.
In the next few days, (or when I finally upload them) you guys are gonna get to see her come back to life!!

STAY POSTED>>>> mods to come!

louisiana drivers are HORRIBLE!(most of them) I swear its like they are trained to run from accidents. Im in the military and as i got to louisiana we were briefed that are insurance rates would go up and that if an accident were to occur get the plate number FAST!

The guy that hit you most likely didnt have insurance which is why he took off. Its sad that someone doesnt want to be responsible for their mistake so they take off and run and others are left to pay for it.(ex higher premiums for those who pay) and in your case a wrecked bike.

I have never been sitting at a red light before and seen someone choose to just keep going so many times in my life since i have moved here. ITS CRAZY! Sorry that kinda turned into my own personal little rant.

Sorry about your bike though and good thing you were wearing gear.
