welcome to CBRF! replacing a fork seal on a conventional fork is not too difficult.
here's a vid
part 1
part 2
part 3
the vid makes it easy.... hope that helps. it's been a while since i watched that video, so i don't know if he touched on this or not. make sure you keep everything clean. make sure there isn't sand or dirt on any parts (washers, spacers, springs, etc.). also, go slowly getting the top cap back on. there is going to be a lot of pressure putting that cap on, but don't put too much force on it - once you get the cap started, it should thread/screw in very easily. if it doesn't, start over - you don't want to cross thread it

Fork seals are easy. It can be a scary job the first time though. The hardest part is getting the front end off the ground and the forks off the bike. That's even pretty easy. Make sure you find out WHY they leaked. The tubes could be bent, scratched, or pitted. The bushings inside will tell the tale. You may just have old seals in there that gave up.
You may want to consider replacing the springs and valves too. They were set up for a light rider and they do lose their spring when the get old.
Read threads and the manual to get to know the procedure, and you'll be fine.
Good luck and welcome.
