Hey everyone. I have been looking for a forum like this for a little while and I just stumbled on it while looking for parts. I bought a 97 CBR 600 3 months ago I put new plugs and changed the oil when I first got it. The weather here in MI just got nice enough to ride and I rode to work one mornig and the bike ran great. On my way home it was hot and I was stuck in really heavy stop and go traffic for about an hour and a half. The bike got real hot so I pulled over let it cool and when traffic died down got home without it heating up to bad. The next morning I took off to go to work and the bike wont shift past 3rd gear. I have been told the 2 are not related. Just a coincidence. I can fix the over heating but I would like to know what to look for as far as the trans, clutch, or shift linkage. I dont want to replace parts that dont need to be replaced. If someone could help me out with some suggestions that would be great. Thanks for taking the time to read all of this. Jason
