Hi returning back to the bike scene
Hi there,
My name is Keith and I've just purchased a 1991 Honda CBR1000F-L as a project, always wanted one from when I was younger and came across this for a decent price.
So joined up here to find the help I may need to get her back on the road etc

You certainly came to the right place to find info and meet other 1000F enthusiasts!! we have just a few here mete ...LOL
Come down to the Hurricane section and post up all about your project ....Start your own thread on the main board and post up as much info and lots a pics of your new project..
You can drop into our Saloon to meet a few of the other members to and post up about near anything as well ...

Hi Keith and welcome to CBRF!! Isn't it great to get something that you've wanted for a long long time? How long had you been away from riding?
You'll definitely have to check out the Hurricane section. There's a bunch of great guys in there and from the looks of it, they have entirely too much fun. Maybe I'll have to get one too... :-P

Hi guys,
Thanks for the welcome, I'll be sure to head over to the Hurricane section once I have picked her up.
I've only been away from biking for 12 months, as my last bike a Yamaha FZ750 Genesis was sold just after I had restored her due to my car breaking down :-(
I just happened to come across this bike last week and thought I can fix that, so I bought it. Anyway hope to pick her up next week. It needs the valve timming sorting out and thats it really, although the paint job isn't original but I'll sort that at a later date.
