RE: hi new and getting started
hey :-) ..have you ever had a bike before?? .. the general consensus is that a modern 600 is a bit too much for a novice .. yes they are ***** cats low down in the rev range but the power band can get you into serious trouble if you are anything but confident and know what you're doing ... I had an old CB400/4 I learned on and then went on to a GPZ500 before my F2 ...

RE: hi new and getting started
yea i hear what you guys are saying about starting on something smaller. I've never owned my own bike, but i have ridin' plenty. So i'm not all new at this. I just want a 600 just roll with that, it'll keep me from have to buy bike after bike, and i wouldn't really wanna go any higher than a 600. So all goes well i'll just hold on to it for a while. I was just looking into if the O7's to 08's changed much besides looks or whatever?

Exact same bike. There are 2 changes to the geometery of the bike but even an experienced rider would find it hard to tell the differences not to mention you'll alter the geometery the minute you set your proper suspension settings for your weight.
