Hey guys. I'm new to the forums, and pretty new to riding as well. I've been reading your forums for advice and help for awhile now but this is my first post :] I also just got my first street bike yesterday. It's a cbr 600 f3 (98) and I have already fallen in love with it ! Yes, it is my first street bike but i have been riding dirt bikes for years though i got to learn on the ride home yesterday that its a LOT different haha. But yeah, just wanted to introduce myself say hi, and say thanks for all of the advice I've already received from this site !

Congrats on your F3! Yep, sport bikes are certainly dif than dirt bikes. Remember w/ sport bikes that most of your braking is up front. ;-)
